I'm a Backend Engineer with 2+ years of experience building payment systems with ACID-compliant transaction handling, e-commerce platforms with real-time analytics on revenue and product catalogues, and edutech applications with full CRUD functionality for course and cohort management. At Vendcliq, I engineered transaction pipelines around a 9PSB payment integration and reduced manual intervention through automated retry and reversal workflows. I studied Information Technology and Business Information Systems at Middlesex University, graduating with First Class Honours.

My focus is on building clean APIs, resilient backend services, and systems that are maintainable, secure, and built to handle scale without surprises. I enjoy solving complex distributed systems problems and writing code that's simple enough for the next engineer to trust.

Beyond shipping code, I've mentored multiple developer cohorts, embedding code review standards and backend best practices that raised team output quality. I write publicly about the systems design tradeoffs I think about daily, ACID vs BASE, the CAP theorem, message broker internals, because writing clearly about a problem is the fastest way to know if you actually understand it.

  • Integrated a dynamic Google Sheets sync for the marketing team, automatically populating a new sheet each marketing cycle with student details on signup
